! Note for MAMEUI users: Due to a long filter name bug/limitation in MAMEUI, INI files with long filter names are not working in MAMEUI and make the frontend not run. However, you can use them in official MAME which doesn't have this bug/limitation present.

The machines are separated by machine category in order to get a grasp on the GIGANTIC machine list in MAME, so that users can choose the machines they are interested in!
Example: "1980s Arcade (no clones)"
All arcade machines from the 1980s, without clones
Example: "Sega Model 2 hardware"
All arcade machines running on the Sega Model 2 hardware
Example: "(S1: raster) (S2: raster)"
All arcade machines having 2 raster screens (S1 = screen 1, S2 = screen 2)
Example: "(P1) lightgun (P2) lightgun"
All 2-player arcade machines having a lightgun for each player (P1 = player 1, P2 = player 2)
(Note: If there is no (P1), (P2), ..., this means the arcade machine is a single player machine and all written controls are for a single player!)
Example: "(CPU1: Zilog Z80) (CPU2: Zilog Z80) (CPU3: Motorola MC68000)"
All arcade machines having 2 Zilog Z80 CPUs and 1 Motorola MC68000 CPU (CPU1 = CPU 1, CPU2 = CPU 2, CPU3 = CPU 3)
Example: "(P1) joy 4-way with 4 buttons (P2) joy 4-way with 4 buttons"
All 2-player arcade machines having a 4-way joystick with 4 buttons for each player (P1 = player 1, P2 = player 2)
